Brandon Smith – Grade 9 (Centurion High, Pretoria)

Brandon is one of two students originally adopted from Stellenbosch Primary and showed an exceptional talent in rugby.  To ensure the maximum exposure and opportunities for him, “Give me a Chance” decided to send Brandon to Paul Roos Gymnasium, where he would have the opportunity to develop to his full potential.

This year, the Blue Bulls rugby scouts came to the Boland and Western Cape to look for promising talent. They could not look past Brandon’s exceptional talent and they offered him a full scholarship at Centurion High in Pretoria and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Although we are sad to loose Brandon for Stellenbosch, we are very proud of the way he impressed the talent seekers, and we whish him all the best for his future. While Brandon enjoys sport, he has managed to maintain an impressive academic record proving that he is a well rounded and diligent pupil.
